The International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) is pleased to offer this free First Mozambican ShortCourse on Geosynthetics. The short course is organized under the auspices of the South African Chapter ofthe IGS (GIGSA), the Mozambican Geotechnical Society (SMG), and the International Society for SoilMechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The short course will be offered immediately after the15th African Regional Conference (15ARC) on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
Emphasis will be on applications using geosynthetics that are expected to be particularly relevantfor Mozambican and African projects. Educational material is expected to be provided to conferenceattendees.
