Monmouth County Library, Manalapan December 5 – 6 “OCEAN TOWNSHIP’S SESQUICENTENNIAL” 11 – 4 p.m. Our Annual Exhibit News 1998 Peggy Dellinger, Exhibit Director and her committee are busily working on the 1998 Holiday HOLIDAY- Exhibit. Did you ever wonder what was happening in Ocean Township during the Civil War? EXHIBIT What is the connection between the Wright Brothers and Ocean Township? Many other little know and interesting facts will be revealed at this years Holiday Exhibit, celebrating 150 years of the Township of Ocean. _______________________________________________________________________ QUILT The Museum Quilters, led by Marge Edelson, have almost completed the 1998 quilt, to be raffled off at the December Exhibit. Soon you will be receiving raffle books. Please help support this important fundraiser by selling or purchasing raffle tickets. _______________________________________________________________________ TUESDAYS- The Museum’s regular hours, on Tuesdays, from 1 – 4, always prove to be interesting. This AT THE summer Ann & Kathy greeted and assisted many visitors interested in local and/or family MUSEUM history. Stop by and investigate the museum’s extensive files and archives. Other hours by appointment. _______________________________________________________________________ SCHOOL School tours begin in October on Tuesdays from 9 – 11 am. Can you help? TOURS Call 531-2136. _______________________________________________________________________ MEMBER- Dues are always accepted and appreciated. We will figure out what year you’re paying, if SHIP you’re unsure. Only $5.00. Thanks!
