The Gloucestershire Business Show celebrates Gloucestershire – the diversity and strength of its economy, its people and communities. The first show was launched in 2015 as the county came out of recession, creating a broad platform for dialogue, consultation, innovation, collaboration and growth but overall promoting Gloucestershire as a great place to do business. Since then, this unique annual show has become the largest gathering of businesses, business leaders and prospective clients in the county. Now in its third year, the show has succeeded in connecting a vast range of people and businesses from micro enterprises and start-ups, to SMEs and corporate plus multi-national companies who are based in, or have an interest in doing business in Gloucestershire.

Developing into its third year, the Gloucestershire Business Show 2017 continues to build on the highly popular spaces for businesses that provide the discussion and engagement that makes it a unique, strategic event in Gloucestershire’s business calendar. Spaces for Business are planned and delivered collaboratively by exhibitors, sponsors and partners that research, develop and deliver relevant products and services.

Exhibition Floor – Our exhibition floor with 140+ exhibitors and extending across

both levels of Centaur presenting a diverse range of businesses across different sizes and sectors. There is a common purpose around doing business in Gloucestershire, promoting it’s diverse culture and variety of opportunities

Programmed Venues – Our five main venues present a range of size and seating

styles that play host to our main programme. From capacity of 20 to 100 and across formal theatre style and flexible, open space. The venues are also available to exhibitors and sponsors to hire for their own presentations and meetings at the show.

Innovation Theatre – Adjacent to the Business Advice Centre, the Innovation

Theatre is programmed with content to explore innovation as a process and a culture. Innovation is integral to any business to facilitate growth and development. Our programme aims to explore that across a wide range of business sectors.

Food and Farming Zone – New for 2107, a number of our sponsors and exhibitors have come together to celebrate and promote Gloucestershire’s rich culture of agricultural production, innovation and business. With 83% of Cotswold land committed to Agricultural use, the sector is a vastly important part of Gloucestershire's business community.

Training and Development for Business – Training and development forms

a vital channel to growth for any business team. Gloucestershire’s training providers support this with a view to providing as much in county as possible and also to provide a high value offering out of county. Our education partners collaborate at the show to consult on what businesses need and to present the county’s services.

Science and Technology Business Zone – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths are drivers for innovative science and technology in businesses. New for 2017, the Science and Technology Business Zone will showcase cutting edge technology from both established and developing businesses, inspiring new business development in the sector.

Digital Security Zone – Digital Security, cyber-attack, awareness, understanding,

and prevention. In a digital age where business risk from digital compromise and online fraud is growing rapidly, Gloucestershire is set to lead the way in the UK’s response, embracing the HR, insurance and legal industry. Business Advice Centre – Our Business Advice Centre brings together at one service point the strategic business advisors from GFirstLEP, InnovateUK, UKti, Institute of Directors, CBI and others. It’s the home of our Access to Finance team and is coordinated for us by Gloucestershire’s Frederick’s Foundation. With a broad team of advisors and mentors covering a wide range of business advice services, the centre is there to be used as a place to go for advice and guidance at any stage of your business journey.

Creative Suite – The arts are embedded in business at every level - from graphic design to media communications, from the performing arts through to creative innovation processes. New for 2017, we have a small theatre space presented by Gloucestershire businesses engaged in performance arts, delivering a programme designed to understand further the relationship between business and the arts.

Exhibitors’ Lounge – Throughout the day or at the end of a long stint on an exhibition stand, it’s important to have time to relax, have a drink and spend time with colleagues, business contacts, or new friends with common business interests. For exhibitors, partners and sponsors we have space to relax with complimentary tea and coffee where you can take clients to talk, hold pre-arranged business meetings, or take time out to relax and re-charge.

Gloucestershire Business Games Track – Located outside the Centaur, by

the recourse running rail, the 400m Race circuit will be the site of the Gloucestershire Business Games, with competing corporate entry teams, engaging Sprint and endurance races with awards for Innovative engineering and design style. A great opportunity for team building, skills development, Marketing and PR.

impressive Pittville Pump Room on 17 May for our after-hours dinner party marking a great celebration of all that is good about business in Gloucestershire. Investors Dinner 2017 – A relaxed event on Thursday 18 May to mark the end of the show. An opportunity for those in the financial sector to network, enjoy an evening with business colleagues and hear from speakers with insight and experience of helping high-performance businesses develop and grow.

GBS17 Business Breakfasts – On Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 May, we hold a networking breakfast for exhibitors, sponsors, partners and the wider business community to start the day. Spend time networking and collaborating over breakfast to get the day off to a great start.

The Gloucestershire Business Games – An exciting opportunity for corporate teams to build and race a pedal car. With sprint and endurance races plus prizes for innovative engineering and design style, the games are a great opportunity for team-building, skills development and marketing and PR opportunities.
