principles of the State Policy

Openness COMPASS will provide high quality public services free of direct user charge, and we encourage COMPASS use all over the world. China will communicate with other countries widely and deeply in the field of satellite navigation to promote compatibility and interoperability among GNSS, and push the advancement of world satellite navigation technology and industry.

7

Compatibility COMPASS will pursue solutions to realize compatibility and interoperability with other satellite navigation systems in the framework of ICG and ITU, and users can get better services with interoperable receivers. Based on the protection of current users and industry, all users will enjoy the improvement of COMPASS navigation satellite system.
