Luminaires that use theReggiani LED LUCE systemcan simply and rapidly beenabled for emergency mode(with maintained or non-maintained operation) byconnecting them to the pack,available separately.

The pre-wired emergencypack comes with quick-fitplug to connect to thesockets fitted onto thelighting bodies and theirdrivers.The LED operating statusindicator of the emergencypack is also pre-wired to thepack and needs to bepositioned in the cut-outdrilled into the false ceilingnext to the luminaire.

Gyros SeriesThe Gyros lamp series areoriginally inspired onrotational motion. Like aGyroscope, this family oflighting fixtures exploits thepossibility for the lightingsource to rotate three-dimensionally in order todirect the light in anypossible direction in space.The circular geometry thatcharacterizes rotationalmotion becomes the primarydesign feature in this seriesof lamps that range across avariety of uses and scales,from desk lamps to largescale lighting systems fortransportation or sportsfacilities.

The design of the lightcarcasses of the differenttypes is therefore based on acircular geometry where thelighting sources are fixed.The overall shape of thelamps is always based on adisk shape of differentdiameters and forms,depending on the type oflighting sources used for thelamps. A pattern of circles isthen used as the motif thatcharacterizes the design ofthe lamp, while performingcertain functions: a patternof tangent circles is aimed atdissipating the heat from thelight source to the air, or atproviding a grip to handle thelamp manually. When the

disk has to enclose the lightsource to protect the lightsource and the ballast –likein the case of using metalhalide sources– a pattern ofcircular insets is aimed toprovide structural rigidity tothe thin aluminum carcass,while increasing the surfaceof heat dissipation of thecarcass.The lamps have beendesigned to incorporate themost energy efficient andlong-lasting technologies:metal halide lamps andLEDs.

Movement is the foundation for “GYROS”, a pendant suitable forsmall and large spaces.The central body houses the optical compartment and control geartechnologies and is supported by a steel ring structure that makesit possible to freely adjust the IOS projector contained in theoptical compartment.
