Description: Site A - The HDNL development proposals are for a sorting centre (B8 Warehousing

land uses) of approximately 17,790m2 GFA and would occupy the northern end of the former

Peugeot works site. Site B - Development proposals are for a mix of B8 warehouse and B2

industrial land uses with ancillary offices. (TA undertaken by Faber Maunsell October 2007).

Trip Distribution: The trips were assigned onto the local road network as follows:

• 23% of traffic would have an origin/destination into Coventry City Centre and are assumed to all route onto the B4110 London Road;

• 35% of traffic would have an origin/destination along the M6 corridor and to the East and West Midlands, and are assumed to route via the A46 (N) Coventry Eastern Bypass;

• 16% of traffic would have an origin/destination to the M42 and South Birmingham and area assumed to route onto the A45 Stonebridge Highway;

• 33% of HGV traffic would have an origin/destination from/to the A45 south towards the M1; • 33% of HGV traffic would have an origin/destination from/to the A45 west towards the M42; • 33% of HGV traffic would have an origin/destination from/to the A46 north towards the M6.

E7: Warwick University

Description: Expansion of Warwick University – TA undertaken by Ove Arup June 2007. All

development to be completed by 2018, therefore included in 2023 forecasts onwards.

Description: It is proposed to develop the land north of the Orchard retail park for mix of

employment uses. The developer has been in discussions with Royal Mail regarding their need for

which would occupy part of the site and would be classed as a B8 use.
