• PMIAA will improve U.S. government program management policy in four important ways, by:

• 연방정부에 표준에 기반한 프로그램 관리 정책이 개발됨. (Developing a standards-based program management policy across the federal government)

• 프로그램 관리 정책 및 전략을 위한 책임을 연방 기관의 상위 관리자에지정함에 의해 경영진의 스폰서쉽 및 참여의 필수 역할을 인식함. (Recognizing the essential role of executive sponsorship and engagement by designating a senior executive in federal agencies to be responsible for program management policy and strategy}

2017 promises to be an active and exciting year for the ProjectManagement Institute. Some highlights are:

• A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Sixth Edition will be released, along with translations.

• New standards to be released are the fourth editions of The Standard for Program Management and The Standard for Portfolio Management. The initial edition of The Standard for Business Analysis and an Agile Practice Guide will also be published.

• The newly renamed PMI® Global Conference will take place in Chicago in October.

• Pulse of the Profession® 2017 will be launched this month.• PMI® Leadership Institute Meetings will take place in the Asia Pacific,

Europe–Middle East–Africa (EMEA) and North America regions.
