Objectives of the projecti) Develop the union catalogue database of
print and electronic document sources held in Indian Aerospace libraries.
ii) Provide access to above mentioned database through Internet.
iii) Create database of Aerospace libraries with necessary details and give links to home pages of concerned libraries.
iv) Provide inbuilt Inter Library Lending request facility.
v) Provide contact details facilitating communication among Indian Aerospace Libraries.

Duplication removal facility for same documents held by different libraries, but indicating all library locations
Merging the records
Uniform Indexing
Updation either directly by participating organization or host organization
Automatic handling of Inter Library Lending.

Rich collection more than 4.5 lakh collection
State of the art library with fully automated house keeping activities.
OPAC with more than 3 lakh records
AeroInfo: An Internet gateway for Aerospace science and Technology.
Library website with all functionalities.
Internet/Intranet/E-mail based Information services.
Technically strong manpower to handle the project.
Campuswide network with 1MB access to Internet
