+Board of Advisors – Introduction
JETAA USA Board of Advisors was established with the adoption of the JETAA USA Bylaws Article 7
No fewer than three members; Two year term
Selection Criteria Former Chapter Officer Worked on a National Level Not a Current Chapter Officer Commit to a Two-year Term Serve no more than three full terms
+Board of Advisors – Purpose
Develop and nurture long-term goals and initiatives for JETAA USA
Provide support to CRs by acting as a resource based on years of involvement with JETAA USA
Help ensure organizational continuity, sustainability & momentum
Collaboration between the CRs and Board of Advisors CRs are the points-of-contact for the Chapters; handle day-
to-day functions; share news & updates on projects/initiatives
Board helps move projects/initiatives forward by utilizing their skills, expertise, historical knowledge and established networks behind the scenes
