Is Sundanese traditional musical instrument

Made of bark / sugar palm or bamboo

in Sundanese language Karinding name refers

to the kakarindingan, that is a kind of insect

Karinding in ancient times was always playedby farmers

The word karinding derived from the word ka and rinding. Ka means the source

and rindingmeans the soundor music.

So karinding could be mean the source or the beginning of all music and sound.
