Transnational Training and Cooperation Activities foster the competence development of professionals in youth related fields.Through the projects, transnational cooperation is enhanced within the youth field as well as with the stakeholders of relatedsectors. The projects contribute to strengthening the role and quality of youth work and youth policy in Europe.

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for boosting skills and employability through activities organised in the fieldof education, training, youth, and sport. Youth activities under Erasmus+ aim to improve the key competences, skills andemployability of young people, promote young people's active participation in the society, their social inclusion and well-being,and foster improvements in youth work and youth policy at local, national and international level.

This document certifies that Robert Goodrich took part in a project called Second Edition of the Massive OpenOnline Course(MOOC) on Erasmus+. It was a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The project was organised bySALTO YOUTH PARTICIPATION, in cooperation with National Agencies of the Erasmus+ Programme.

A MOOC is an online course aimed at wide participation and open access via the Internet. It provides materials for studying fromdistance, presented through videos, readings, and other media, and engages learners through forums to encourage interactionand feedback. Carried out in the context of Erasmus+ Programme, the MOOCs focus on the priority areas of the programme.

Altogether, 4000 people from Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosniaand Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, FormerYugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel,Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal,Netherlands, Norway, Palestinian Territory, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation,Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, UnitedKingdom, and United States took part in the project.

The overall aim and specific objectives of the project:To learn philosophy of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme and the youth work sector: objectives, priorities andtarget groupsTo equip participants with the basic knowledge and understanding of youth exchanges, European Voluntary Serviceand mobility of youth workersTo prepare participants to develop a youth and/or youth worker's mobility projects matching formal and minimumquality requirementsTo create space for networking and building distributed knowledge about Erasmus+ Youth

Main contents and activities of the project:The course offered interactive learning contents online using the Canvas.net platform for hosting Massive Open OnlineCourses. Participants were learning through animated videos, pre-recorded video interviews, video examples fromprojects. They could take part in online discussions with their peers and practice their knowledge through completingquizzes. Participants were redirected to various educational resources related to international youth work outside of thecourse.
