Blythswood Square is more than a hotel. Not only does it have 113 stunning guest rooms but it also houses an amazing spa, restaurant, bars (including the historic Rally Bar situated in the private events space)and a private cinema room. A true 5 star proposition.

The Monte Carlo Suite with adjoining Rally Bar is perfect for your Champagne reception. Natural wooden floors, rich wood panelling and luxurious fabrics compliment the bespoke Harris Tweed chairs.

The Rally Bar is named after the Monte Carlo Rally which started from Blythswood Square in 1955 and was an original feature of The Royal Scottish Automobile Club.

The private cinema room is the first of its kind in Glasgow and is available to use as a special way to show your wedding pictures or a memorable movie.

THE MONTE CARLO SUITE

The Monte Carlo Suite accommodates up to 120 guests and is a glamorous setting with natural day light and attentive service which will surpass your expectations.

Our capacities are as follows:

Wedding Ceremonies from 20 to 80 guests in the Monte Carlo Suite.

Ceremonies for up to 80 guests in the Monte Carlo Suite, followed by drinks in The Salon. Additional charges will apply.

Wedding Breakfast - 80 guests.

Evening Reception - 120 guests (total).

The wedding ceremony, breakfast and evening reception will all take place in the Monte Carlo Suite. Your dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will advise of the turnaround times.

WEDDING BREAKFAST

Your wedding breakfast, served in the Monte Carlo Suite, will be a set menu of 1 choice per course.

Special dietary requirements will be accommodated.

For children under the age of 12 we can offer a special 3 or 4 course menu.

Our Wedding Co-ordinator and Executive Head Chef can help you choose from an exquisite selection of menus.

We also provide an evening buffet where you can choose from cold and hot canapés, fork buffet or finger buffet.

If you are including evening entertainment as part of your special day there is a minimum room booking of 6 rooms (2 Junior Suites, 2 Deluxe Rooms and 2 Superior Rooms) charged at our best available rate.

Blythswood Square has 105 luxury rooms, 7 individually appointed suites as well as Glasgow’s most luxurious Penthouse.

TOWN HOUSE SUITEOur stylish top floor Town House Suite, occupying one side of the hotel on West Regent Street, comes complete with a separate lounge (which conveniently doubles as a second bedroom) and dining room, as well as a fabulous furnished outside terrace with views over the city.

PENTHOUSEThe magnificent Penthouse Suite sits majestically atop the building in the former RSAC staff quarters, with its own lift, furnished rooftop terrace, private bar and dining room - not to mention the marble bathroom and views over the rooftops of Glasgow city centre, will quite literally take your breath away. This is the height of luxury.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN THE HOTEL PROVIDE A PLACE SETTING PLAN?We normally recommend that the couple arrange this themselves, this gives it a more personal feel and means changes can be made easily. The staff will be happy to set up all the place settings for you if they are dropped in at the hotel before the wedding.

CAN THE HOTEL ARRANGE FLOWER DISPLAYS?We recommend a florist, who we know is reliable and can help you make your day personal. We will be happy to arrange floral displays along with the rest of the table displays.

DOES THE HOTEL OFFER A CHAUFFEUR SERVICE?We have close contact with a reliable and professional chauffeur service and can help you arrange your transport.

IS THERE SPECIFIC WEDDING PACKAGES WITH SET COSTS?We have sample wedding packages available and your Wedding Co-ordinator can help you design a package to suit your needs.

CAN THE HOTEL PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT? Recommended suppliers for entertainment will be offered.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSITProvisional reservations will be held for 14 days. To secure your booking a non refundable deposit of £1000, together with a signed contract, will be required.

A payment of 50% of estimated balance is due 6 months prior to the wedding date. Should you book within 6 months, a suitable date for payment will be agreed.

FINAL BALANCEFull pre-payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding date andextras are payable on departure.

NUMBERSFinal guest numbers are required 14 days prior to wedding date.

CANCELLATION POLICYSee wedding contract for full terms and conditions.

GUEST ACCOMMODATIONBest available rates will be made available for your wedding guests. Alternatively a group allocation can be arranged on request.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMESCheck in for all guests is 3pm and check out is 12noon daily.Late check out and early arrival is available, subject to an additional charge.
