I completed two internships in

preparation for my career in marketing.

One was off campus with a local

financial institution where I assisted

with the production of all marketing

content. I also landed a major internship

on campus in the University’s Marketing

and Communication Office as a

Marketing Strategist, working in all

areas of marketing and branding.

UW-Green Bay has prepared me for

my career in business as I start a position

with Catholic Financial Life, serving

clients in the Milwaukee, Madison and

Chicago areas!

ADVENTURES AT HOME. ADVENTURES ABROAD.What better way to know the world than to see the world? At UW-Green Bay an

average of 180 to 200 students study abroad each year. They take their dreams to

various points around the world—about 20 to 25 countries—and return with a new

perspective and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Whether you are studying for an entire year overseas, or taking a two-week trip

between semesters, your study abroad experience will be noticed by employers and

open doors to new opportunities for you.

“Growing up, I dreamed about visiting

Europe. Studying for a semester there

made it real, and it changed me.

I traveled to the Netherlands, the

Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany,

Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy and

various cities around France. I became

more accepting and open to other

cultures, I became more confident

in myself, and I made so many good

friends. We already have plans to

visit each other in the years ahead!

I highly encourage other students to

study abroad.”

WHY STUDY ABROAD?• See the world and experience other cultures

• Strengthen your foreign language skills

• Gain an international and intercultural experience that is

attractive to employers

• Have the adventure of a lifetime!

CAMPUS SAFETY A PRIORITYUW-Green Bay is a welcoming, safe, inclusive community — a place where students feel secure. The University is invested in the safety of every student, faculty and staff member on our campus and employs sworn police officers who patrol campus 24/7. We are proud of our campus safety record.

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires colleges and universities make available a combined Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report which includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes on campus and closely related locations. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters. You may obtain this information for UW-Green Bay at https://www.uwgb.edu/public-safe-ty/clery/annual-security-and-fire-safety-report/ A printed copy of the report may be obtained by writing to Office of Public Safety, Instructional Services, Room 1024, 2420 Nicolet Drive Green Bay, WI 54311-7001, or by calling 920-465-2300.

FOUR CAMPUSES.ONE UNIVERSITY. UW-Green Bay is a dynamic, four-campus University, with locations

along the beautiful lake and bay shores of Northeast Wisconsin in

Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc and Sheboygan.

At each of these campuses, students explore leading degree offerings

and major/minor programs taught by award-winning, student-

centered faculty. Rounding out their experience, students participate

in diverse clubs, organizations and campus athletics, making campus

and community connections that last a lifetime.

Mackenzie May ’19Communication major with areas of emphasis in Journalism, Public Relations, Social Media Strategies and Sports Communication

“After completing my first two years

at Marinette, which included an

independent study substituted as an

internship at FOX 11, I came to

UW-Green Bay and worked as a writer/

editor for Good Day Wisconsin for a year

and a half. I was recently promoted to a

full-time position as digital producer, all

while going to school. I’ve worked two

NFL drafts, elections, a presidential visit

and breaking news. I’m eager to grow

professionally and pursue my career in

sports journalism.”

choice by signing up for a

some of the professors in the
