The future doesn’t just happen. Someone builds it!Join us for an intense, hands-on, interactive camp for tomorrow’s engineers and roboticists! Campers of similar programming experience and knowledge will team up and be equipped with a computer and LEGO® Mindstorm NXT kit. Teams will complete “missions,” requiring them to build a robot and develop programming to allow their robot to navigate real-world challenges. To further connect this camp to real-life application, campers will participate in a field trip to a Green Bay area business using robotic technology in their business practice.

Building tomorrow!

A tradition of music!UW-Green Bay’s Music Camps have worked with generations of young musicians to teach, make music and have fun on a campus that has long-prided itself on its strong music programs. The Middle School Camp provides an opportunity to participate in “X-Band,” our beginners band, or the upper-level “Middle School Band.” The camp is structured for newer musicians with a focus on learning techniques, musicality and having fun in the process! The High School Camp focuses on developing each individual musician in order to contribute to the larger group. Sectional rehearsals are much more advanced. In both camps, rehearsals make up the majority of the instructional day. Master classes give campers intensive instruction on their instrument or voice. Campers can personalize their schedules by selecting from a wide array of activity classes. The camp culminates in a Friday evening performance in UW-Green Bay’s iconic Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.

Be dynamic. Be you!

Rock on!UW-Green Bay’s Rock Academy was created to inspire the full band experience. Campers will work directly with some of the top-performers, music educators and Grammy-nominated artists in the business today. You will establish key skills necessary to becoming not just a better player, but developing a more in-depth understanding of what it takes to be a performer, songwriter and improviser. In addition to putting together a rock concert at the end of the week, each camper will work with music faculty and artists to write and arrange two to three songs to perform at the final concert. At Rock Academy, you not only learn — you rock!

This summer is gonna rock!!!
