About a year ago we carried out a survey

called ‘Great Treasury’, asking all nail

technicians about their businesses.

We have received a lot of replies but we

still need a lot more to be able to collect the data

necessary to pass on to the manufacturers. We

all have busy lives and little time for fi lling out

forms and questionnaires but it would greatly

benefi t our industry if you would take a little time

out of your busy days to fi ll the survey in. (Please

go to page 42 for more details). I don’t think we

all realise how big of a role we individually play

in growing the nail industry. We sell our services

and talents to our customers and each of us

has learnt how to make other people happier by

making them feel special. This is a big role and we

should never forget that.

If we can collect enough data we will be able to

create a guide for the manufacturers and help

them understand our needs. I just wanted to let

you know that your voice matters.

Despite the weather we’ve been having, I love this

time of the year; people going on holidays, getting

their nails done in the colours they would never

do otherwise. Thank you for sharing your

jaw-dropping nail designs. You inspire me and

others to create extraordinary nail art and bring

that smile to our client’s faces. You can also tell us

your stories and we will happily publish your

fantastic designs. We are always happy to listen to

and fi nd answers to any problems you may have.
