Your BT bill explained

How to pay your BT billThe front page of your bill tells you that BT will automatically debit your account for the amount due. This is the simplest way to pay your bill.

The second page details the various other ways you can pay your bill. Remember that if you pay by cash or cheque, you will need to fi ll out the payment slip that we have attached at the end of this page. If you would prefer to pay by direct debit, contact our Customer Care Centre on 1904 or visit www.btireland.ie/forms to download the direct debit form.

Itemised breakdownOn this page and the remaining pages you’ll fi nd a detailed explanation of all the calls you made in your last billing period. They are grouped by call type and the details show how long each call was and how much it cost. You will also fi nd a detailed breakdown of all service charges by monthly period.

A simple guide to your charges

Things to note about your fi rst bill!Remember that your fi rst bill includes set up charges which you only pay for once. Line service charges and Internet charges are paid two months in advance. On your fi rst bill you will also see charges for these services for the period between the activation date of your services and your fi rst bill date. All call charges are billed in arrears.
