From each school we now need to split into lead ambassadors for:
• Competition
• Increasing Participation at 14-16
Active Arcade …
Aims to …• Increase participation in physical activity at 14-
16 years old• Increase activity levels of those not taking part in
anything beyond core PE• Use new technology as a ‘hook’ to participation• Provide these students with a competition
opportunity – both intra & inter• Signpost students to participation outside of
school
Active Arcade …The proposed package:
2 x Indoor Rower
2 x Indoor Bike
5 x Wii Sports with TVs
2 x Dats mats with Wii, Sound System & Projector
Active Arcade …
Collecting Data …• Pupils to use a log book to track progress over a
number of weeks• Recording progress in this log will mean we can
compare progress and rank for intra and inter school competition
• Progress recorded should give students a sense of achievement

Active Arcade …Costs & Fundraising …• Each pack as proposed will cost approx £6000• Log Books for each pack would cost £60 (based on 30 students)
