“You cannot solve a problem on the same level that it was created. You have to riseabove it to the next level”- Albert Einstein.
The purpose to mention this quotation is not only to recall the apparent common word
“Innovation” that we have been discussing in the last couple of days, but to comprehend
this term by encompassing key requirements we need to adopt. As per my experience, I
would emphasis more on ‘Improvisation’. Because innovation is not a one-day exercise,
rather it is captivating towards a series of factual ideas and a lot of improvisation in one’s
daily routine, approach & working methodology. The environment also plays a vital role
to play with an IDEA and further how soon one can improvise on it.
Many organizations these days explore the potential of its resources only in one direction
within parenthesis of fixed skill sets to fulfil routine requirements. Now the situation post
COVID emergence has changed drastically towards “Need”. This Need is nudging the
Organizations and its resources to look for a new or multi-set of skills & technologies to
go for new products or services in terms of cost-effective and problem-solving
techniques. That as per me is innovation.
It is a good opportunity for our people to get involved in our new holistic approach,
through a recent initiative called ‘INNOVATION COUNCIL’- a subset of the drive towards
‘Culture of change and growth’. Moreover, the constant change in customer needs and
wants is making us think on how we can be two steps ahead, so we are best positioned to
capture the market. The creation of innovation council platform I believe can be a game-
changer.
We have planned to invest $1.5 million towards innovation and this council will reward its
enablers. Enablers need to follow and expedite steps that include ideation, design,
prototyping, and finally testing & development. The organization will be happy to equip
its people with relevant tools to help achieve this goal, like we signed up with Gartner for
Market Intelligence. Such associations will give you the edge for leveraging knowledge
and insights.
I would like to welcome the members to the first year of the council and instil the
Innovation Fabric in the company’s DNA. Our existing members are:
Saranya Subramanian, Scott Leathers, Saikat Majumdar, Murat Coskun, Fareed uddin
Mohmed, Prithivi Maniezhilan, Sai Dinesh Chandrasekar, Sreenivasa Santhosh
Jonnalagadda, Sridhar Chintapally, Venkata Siva SatyaKumar, Sathish Pandi, Kirthiga
Balachandran, Basavalingam Timmidi.
Feel free to reach out to any of the council members or your managers for further
information.

Human connection is key to career acceleration, health, productivity, and
happiness in and out of the workplace. It's so important that we continue to
invest time and effort into maintaining relationships from a distance so that
when we are together, our bonds will be stronger and we'll feel like nothing has
changed. The people we work are equally important along with work we
deliver, so be present, be focused, and most importantly, be human when
communicating with them
The downside of isolation
We are currently experiencing an economic, societal, environmental, and
biological transformation that will hopefully lead to a new work-life
renaissance. At this moment, being human means to be socially responsible,
instill trust, and show empathy as we all confront the mental health, loneliness,
and burnout crises from a distance. And, this distance puts more pressure on
us…Keep Reading

Customer life cycle management is creating, cultivating, and constantly improving a
company’s relationship with its customers. It is vital to implement customer life cycle
management in today’s dynamic marketplace where the competition is fierce to take

Due to the Emission of CO2, CO, Suspended particulates, volatile organic compounds, into the
atmosphere are released from traditional IC Engine Vehicle. As an increasing number of
people use public and personal transportation, the amount of air pollution increases every
single day. Consequently, electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular. An electric
vehicle generally contains the following major components: an electric motor, a motor
controller, a traction battery, a battery management system, a plug-in charger that can be
operated separately from the vehicle, a wiring system, a regenerative braking system, a vehicle
body, and a frame. The battery management system is one of the most important
components, especially when using lithium-ion batteries. Starting, lighting & other accessories

Due to the worsening air quality, there is an overwhelming concern for public health, as
vehicular emissions are considered a large contributor to airborne pollution. The Bharat Stage
VI norms came into effect from 1st April 2020 for On-road vehicles i.e 2W-Scooters & bikes,
3W-Autos, 4W-Passenger cars, Buses & Trucks. The Bharat Stage VI (BS-VI) norms put limits
on emissions of CO, HC, NOx, PM (Particulate Matter) and PN (Particulate Number). The new
norms reduce NOx by 89% & PM by 50% from BSIV values & in addition have a new limit on
the particulate count to 8x1011 (particles/kWh)...Keep Reading
According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Smart Manufacturing
are systems that are “fully-integrated, collaborative manufacturing systems that respond in
real-time to meet changing demands and conditions in the factory, in the supply network, and
in customer needs.”
Smart manufacturing relies on having a setup that is responsive and can adapt quickly to
changes in the environment. This integrated responsive setup is powered by robust real-time
data which helps evaluate the environment and make necessary alterations in real-time. Much
of this data remains in information silos within the factory. Integration of the combined data
from multiple data sources can improve efficiency and speed up the production
processes…Keep Reading

Over the past 15 years, I’ve periodically asked myself, “How do these companies
and teams always stay ahead of their customer’s needs, wants and wishes? How is
this possible? Do they have a magic crystal ball that shows the future or what?”
Throughout many years, my collection of thoughts came from my own
experiences, observations, and business interactions with customers located in
various places around the world. I would like to share some of my findings with
you.
I want to call these companies “Pioneer” companies. Here are what the Pioneer
companies do to always stay two steps ahead of their customers.
They know their customers like no others. I have recognized that they spend a
great amount of time learning their customer’s business, products, and overall
structure. How are they making money? What problems do their products help
their end-customers solve and how are they adding value? They spend a great
deal of time with the end customers who are using the products to capture their
perspectives. This gives them a competitive advantage and insight to all
challenges, which in turn become opportunities to capture. That is the easy part,
right? Which is the tip of the iceberg, the topping on the cake. The key question
then becomes, “What is under the iceberg or inside of the cake?”
I have collected some of my observations of the Pioneer companies’ internal
dynamics. Here is what I saw. Their DNA has an endless curious mindset and an
open-mindedness to ask questions and learn. They challenge the status
quo…Keep Reading
