First of all, the circumstances responsible for a crime are different for the same crime done by different individuals. If there is the same punishment for all kind of murders, it will lead to social injustice. For instance, a person may have killed someone in self-defense. Now, such a person should not be punished like an organized criminal who does the crime in a planned way. Secondly, family members of perpetrators are associated with them. By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilt of committing murder. Therefore, life in prison is a better punishment for murderers.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

By giving punishment of death penalty to criminals, crimes cannot be controlled. Hence, lifelong imprisonment is a better option for murderers as per the given arguments, which are followed by my opinion.

By punishing them with death penalty, the court of law is actually punishing their family as well as it will be devoid of a loved one forever.

Lastly, a lot of killers are victimized of an organized crime network and helplessly become a part of the crime world or underworld. These murderers may have their conscience alive and they may be turned into social human beings if reformed. By killing them, we cannot eradicate an organized crime network. However, if treated properly and assured of mercy, they can become useful informers of the crime circuit to which they belong.

On the other hand, life in prison itself is a reforming period as it gives a criminal a chance to self-analyse and realise his wrongdoing by killing someone. Such criminals are often found to turn into kind-hearted beings in repentance for the rest of their lives.

In conclusion, after considering the abovementioned arguments, I feel that death penalty is not a solution for anything and it affects many lives, so there is the necessity to have other forms of punishment such as life imprisonment.

The diagram gives an idea of the functioning of a central heating system in a house.

The overview captured is that the tank, boiler and pipes ensure a constant flow of hot water to the radiators and the taps.

To begin in detail, the cold water enters the house and is stored in the water storage tank on the roof of the house. The flow of water goes down to the boiler, which is located on the ground floor of the house.

The boiler which is fuelled by gas or oil, heats up the water as it passes through it. Then, the hot water is pumped around the house through the radiators, which have small tubes to help distribute the heat and this warms each of the rooms.

Some of the water is directed to the taps to provide hot water for the house. Furthermore, the water has been through pipes and radiators, it returns to the boiler to be re-heated and circulated round the house again.

In conclusion, there is the process of a central heating system for domestic uses.
