There are two ways of accessing e-books. Either visit the HeLLO website www.hello.nhs.uk/eBooks.asp and
browse the list of books in your specialty.
ebrary gives you access to thousands of e-books. You can browse subjects and publishers or search for a particular book.
Use either Simple or Advanced search to find authors, titles or keywords. You can sort results by relevance, title or date. To read
an e-book click the blue title link
This is an example of an e-book record
The InfoTools button allows you to copy or print sections, define and explain keywords, read the author’s biography, search key-words with various online sources and export the bibliography to a referencing tool such as Endnote or ReWorks.
You can also search the e-book, add it to your bookshelf and make notes.
The rest of the toolbar along the top allows you to scroll through and magnify the pages, highlight sections or download a copy.
