1. Measure,identifyandmarkfuturesawcutlocationsontheedgeforms.Thesemarkingswilldesignatetheplacementofthebasketassembliesandfuturesawcutlocations.

2. Usingastringlinebetweendesignatededgeformmarkings,marksubgrade(usingspraypaintorsimilar)forproperinstallationlocationsofbasketassemblies.

3. Placeandsecuredowelbasketassemblesoverthesubgrademarks.Thecenterlineofthebasketassembliesshouldbedirectlyoverthemarkedlocatinglinesandthedowelsshouldbekeptaminimumof6inchesawayfromjointintersections(ACI302.1R-04andACI360R-10).

4. Ensureareleaseagentisappliedtothedowelsinthebasketassembliespriortoconcreteplacement.

6. SnapchalklinesontopofnewlyplacedslabusingtheedgeformmarkingsinStep1.Alongthechalklines,sawcutthejointstotherequireddepth.
