Framed by the rolling hills of rural Yorba Linda, Yorba Regional Park offers 175 acres of family relaxation. There’s picnicking, bike rentals, softball fields, horseshoe pits, model boat sailing, fishing, fitness courses and more. How will you spend today? If you’re at Yorba Regional Park, you’ll spend it relaxing. A BRIEF HISTORY. The land that is now Yorba Regional Park was part of a Spanish land grant, Rancho Cañon de Santa Ana, to Don Bernardo Yorba. The Yorba family raised cattle and grew crops on the land until the early 20th century. In 1972, the County acquired 166 acres of the property to create Yorba Regional Park, which opened to the public in 1976. ROOM FOR RELAXING. Yorba Regional Park features some 140 acres of room to relax. Maybe your version of relaxation is a leisurely game of horseshoes. Maybe it’s a game of volleyball. Maybe it’s fishing or hiking or Frisbee-throwing or biking. Maybe it’s wandering around with a camera or sketchpad. Or maybe it’s simply finding a nice shady spot under a tree and taking a nap. However you define down time, you’ll find it at Yorba Regional Park. WHAT THERE IS AT YORBA REGIONAL PARK.
