Singapore – 20 December 2013 – Singapore Exchange Mainboard listed Ying Li International
Real Estate Limited (“Ying Li” or the “Company”, and together with its subsidiaries, the
“Group”) is pleased to announce that the highly-anticipated Ying Li International Plaza’s retail
mall (英利国际广场)open its door to more than 100,000 shoppers today. The mall has to-
date successfully garnered 76% contracted tenant occupancy and 9% with letters of intent
signed.
The 9-storey family and lifestyle themed mall offers a vibrant and diverse array of retail, food
& beverage, lifestyle and entertainment outlets, laid out over 100,000 square meters (1.1
million square feet) of gross floor area. The innovative and intelligently designed layout of its
extensive retail areas provides large spaces for entertainment events and recreational
activities, creating a holistic and multi-sensory shopping experience. Shoppers can enjoy a
diverse portfolio of popular as well as niche international and domestic brands catering to the
local taste and preferences.

Commenting on today’s soft opening of Ying Li International Plaza retail mall, Executive
Chairman of Ying Li, Mr Fang Ming, said: “Today, the Group has achieved yet another

Making its debut appearance in Chongqing is Lotte hypermarket (“Lotte Mart”). Operated by
Lotte Group, a leading Korean conglomerate and Fortune 500 Company, Lotte Mart takes up
13,400 sqm of space offering an extensive range of quality local and imported groceries and
general lifestyle merchandises.
With the increasing cosmopolitan lifestyle of Chongqing consumers, Ying Li International Plaza
retail mall has attracted well-known mass market European apparel brands such as H&M and
C&A, as well as popular domestic brands such as Jolyvia Beauty(娇莉芙), Hotwind (热
风). China’s leading fashion and denim apparel label, MJstyle, has established its Chongqing
flagship store in Ying Li International Plaza retail mall.
Further enhancing the theme is another key tenant, Kids Want (孩子王). Leasing more
than 4,700 sqm of space, Kids Want is a one-stop premier speciality retailer that provides a
comprehensive range of quality products for children and expectant mothers all under one
roof.
Offering fresh entertainment concept at the mall, the Group has signed up China’s leading
cinema and entertainment Group, Poly Tongmei Cinema(保利同美影院). Clad in modern
and contemporary furnishing, the multiplex takes up 5,000 sqm of space with 13 screens and
1,500 seats. In addition, the mall will feature MLCQ Party Box, a leading karaoke chain in
Chongqing.

Shoppers at Ying Li International Plaza retail mall will be spoilt for choice with a wide variety
of tantalizing food & beverage offerings such as Dezhuang Hotpot(德庄火锅), Xiao Dong
Tian Restaurant(小洞天), Fragrant Thai Restaurant(香漫谷), SANHOUCAL Steak House
(胜毫客牛排), Starbucks Coffee (星巴克)and Honeymoon-Dessert(满记甜品).
In conjunction with the mall’s soft opening and upcoming festive season, Ying Li International
Plaza retail mall and its tenants have launched an exciting line-up of events, including
entertainment performances, attractive lucky draw prizes, promotions with retailers, and fun-
filled activities and events for shoppers of all age group to participate.
Strategically located in the centre of Da Ping, the most densely populated area in Yuzhong
district of 200,000 population and some 150 large companies within a 1km radius area, the
Ying Li International Plaza retail mall benefits from the frontage exposure and access to two
main roads - Da Ping Main Street (大坪正街)and Changjiang 2nd Road (长江二路). In
addition, the mall is supported by a comprehensive public transport network infrastructure,
including 42 bus line services and the adjacent Da Ping Interchange Station. Da Ping Station is
an interchange for MRT line 1 and LRT line 2, and is 4 MRT stops away from Jiefangbei,
Chongqing’s core Central Business District. This highly convenient access via multi-modal
transportation greatly extends the large population catchment of the mall.
The retail mall is located in the podium block of the Ying Li International Plaza - a premier
large-scale integrated mixed use development spanning a gross floor area of 400,000 sq m
(4.4 million sq ft) which also comprises one office, one SOHO (small office/home office) and
three residential tower blocks. The units in the tower blocks are being progressively
completed and handed over to buyers.
