Your Health covers common general practice topics and especially new developments in medical care.

We work with our sponsors to ensure that key messages are conveyed whilst maintaining the integrity and independence of our content.

There is a special emphasis on preventative medicine, such as immunisation, nutrition, osteoporosis, lipids, smoking cessation and Pap smears.

The medical information is evidence-based, balanced and up-to-date.

Light-hearted elements, such as medical jokes, cartoons, competitions and healthy recipes, are included in each issue.

The average circulation is approximately 90,000 copies per issue with ongoing campaigns pending to significantly increase circulation and distribution through practice websites.

As the newsletters are purchased by each practice, there is very little wastage. Many copies are read in the waiting room and recycled by a number of patients. Other copies are taken home and are read by family and friends. Your Health can also now be distributed by email to all registered patients of the practice - the new practice website will also allow patients to self-subscribe on their GP’s site.
