PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Advent Wreath Prayer
Blessed are you, O Lord our God,
King of the Universe.
You sent your Son to be the Light
of the World and to spread His
light of love to all.
As we light the candles of
this wreath, may its growing
brightness remind us of the
approaching nearness of your
Son so that the day of His coming

with joy.
We ask this through Christ our
Lord. Amen.
Idea: Light Your Advent Wreath
each night at dinner and say this
prayer before your meal.

INTENTION
OF THE WEEK
When you are in church, please stop by the Prayer Wall in back to pray for a speci"c need, and initial that you’ve done so. You are also invited to "ll out a card asking for prayers.
“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth.” — St. Teresa of Calcutta

the signs begin to stand straight they should raise their

The message of the Gospel is similar to when we get
caught up in the moment. As young people, we sometimes

forget about the bigger picture and end up missing out on
helping others because of it. God wants us to live a good

We can do this by being kind to
one another and remembering to
help those in need. We can think

and what Jesus would think of us
through His eyes. When we are
in a tough situation we can ask
ourselves WWJD (What Would
