Enrolment Process Ferny Grove has an Enrolment Management Plan (EMP)and catchment area

All parents wishing to enrol their students will need to complete an Expression of

Interest for Student Enrolment, whether they reside in or out of catchment.

Documentation required for all EOIs is:

• Copy of student’s birth certificate

• Copy of most recent school report

• Copy of NAPLAN report

“In Catchment” families need TWO proof of residency notices, one from each source

below:

• One primary source: a current lease agreement, a current driver’s licence or unconditional

sale agreement; AND

• One secondary source: a utility bill (electricity, gas) or rates notice showing this same

address and parent’s/legal guardian’s name.

Once the Expression of Interest form and all supporting documentation is received,

applicants will receive a letter from the school within two to three weeks stating that

the application is Accepted, Rejected or placed on a Waiting List. Parents of

students accepted into Ferny Grove SHS will receive an enrolment pack with all

documents required for enrolment.

Enrolment Process Tonight, parents of students who have been accepted for enrolment will be given an

enrolment pack and can book an enrolment interview.

Parents who haven’t submitted an expression of interest form will be given one to

complete but will not receive an enrolment pack or be given an interview time until

their application has been reviewed against our Enrolment Management Plan.

For interested parents and students not able to make it tonight, two after school

tours will be held on June 14 & 19. Further tours will be arranged as needed in

semester two.
