Alfred von Schlieffen create this plan It was Germany's only plan for war Plan: go through Belgium and defeat France than go

East front and beat Russia

Why the plan failure Russian mobilize his forces quicker as expected Belgians had refused permission Germans go

through Belgium - so they had to fight France was supported by British army

All in all worse position for Germany as before
