I’ve used a tealight since the width of the tealight matches the width of the subset of the figure. You can ofcourse also use anything else of weight like small rocks etc.

The base for body and

head:

The body starts: Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc). R 4: *1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (24 sc). R 5: *1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (30 sc). R 6: *1 sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (36 sc). R 7: 1 sc in each st BLO (36 sc). R 8-19: 1 sc in each st (36 sc) = total of 12 rounds. R 43: *1 sc in each of next 4 sts, sc2tog *, repeat *-* 6 times (30 sc). R 44: *1 sc in each of next 3 sts, sc2tog*, repeat *-* 6 times (24 sc). R 45: *1 sc in each of next 2 sts, sc2tog*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc).

- Fill! R 46: *1 sc, sc2tog*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 47: *sc2tog*, repeat *-* 6 times (6 sc).

- Sew the top of the head together.



The snowman merlin:

Use white yarn (82050) for both body and head. After round 39 when the safety eyes are on, sew on two eyebrows as seen on the picture below.

Nose: Use orange yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 3 sc around the ring (3 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 3 times (6 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 3 times (9 sc). R 4: *1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 3 times (12 sc). R 5: 1 sc in each st (12 sc). Finish off and leave a tail for joining the nose on the face later. Sew the nose on between the eyes.

Earcuffs: Use darkgrey yarn. Part 1: Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc). R 4-5: 1 sc in each st (18 sc). Part 2: Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc). Join the parts with sc in BLO, stuff it before you join it all together. Finish off and leave a tail for assemling later. Make one more. Then make a longer band, with a width of 3 sc, approx. 12 cm long. Sew the cuffs on each



side of the band before sewing it on Merlins head.

Cowl: Use darkgrey yarn. Ch 29 + 3. R 1: 1 dc in fourth ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next ch. R 2: Ch 1, turn. 1 sc in first st, *3 hdc in next st, 1 sl st in next st* repeat *-* until you’ve got one st left, finish with a sc in the last st. Sew the cowl together around Merlins neck.



The reindeer Coco:

Use light brown/beige for the body (R 1-R 23). Use beige for the head (R 24-R 47). After round 39 when the safety eyes are on, sew on two eyelashes as seen on the picture below.

Nose: Use beige yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc (9 sc). R 3: 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc (15 sc). R 4-5: 1 sc in each st (15 sc). Finish off an leave a tail for joining the nose on the face. Before joining sew some long stitches across the nose in black yarn. Sew the nose on between the eyes with the rounded part facing down.

Horn x 2: Use white yarn. Part 1: Ch 2 or make a magic ring,

R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2-7: 1 sc in each st (6 sc). Part 2: Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2-3: 1 sc in each st (6 sc). Sew the smaller part on the side of the longer part a bit up. Then sew the horns on each side of the “cap”.



”Cap”: Use light brown/beige yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). opposite side with 1 sc (in same st as the last sc), 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Save a tail to sew the leaves on Coco’s forehead. Berries x 2: Use winered yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). Sew them on over the leaves on the ”cap”.

Ears x 2: Use light brown/beige yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 3 sc around the ring (3 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 3 times (6 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 3 times (9 sc). R 4-6: 1 sc in each st (9 sc). R 7: *1 sc, sc2tog*, repeat *-* 3 times (6 sc). R 8: *sc2tog*, repeat *-* 3 times (3 sc). Save a tail to sew the ears on below the horns on each side of the ”cap”.



the polarbear barclay:

Use white yarn for both body and head Ears x 2: Use white yarn. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc). R 4-7: 1 sc in each st (18 sc) = a total of 4 rounds. Crochet the cap together with sc, finish of and save a tail for joining the ears on the beanie later.

Beanie: Double strands of yarn color 82156 + Silk-Mohair. Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: *2 sc in each st*, repeat *-* 6 times (12 sc). R 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (18 sc). R 4: *1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (24 sc). R 5: *1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next st*, repeat *-* 6 times (30 sc). Ch 2 or make a magic ring, R 1: 6 sc around the ring (6 sc). R 2: 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc (9 sc). R 3: 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc (15 sc). - Stuff a bit R 5: *sc2tog*, repeat *-* 6 times (6 sc). Sew the hole close and sew the ball on top of the hat.

Band x 2: Use white yarn. Ch 18 + 1. 1 sc in second ch from hook, 1 sc in each of next 17 sts. Sew these on opposite side of each other on the edge of the hat, sew the hat on top of the



head with the bands on each side. The alternative is to glue it on if you find it hard to sew it on nicely.
