Activity 2 -Guessing GameChoose your favourite and your least favourite characters from the book. Describe them without using any names. Also write down what it is you like or don’t like about them.

Options:

1. Poster campaign (eg. page 46-47), Greg campaigned to become the treasurer. Think of a political, school related campaign or one of your own choice. You can choose between a positive or negative campaign!

2. Cartoon for school newspaper (eg. page 164-167) – option to poduce this digitally or on paper. Rowley and Greg both worked on cartoons. Can you produce some cartoons which are for the school newspaper or a paper of your own choice? If you decide to work digitally think of using photographs which you can insert into a power point and then add text and text bubbles. You might also know of another programme to help you with this.

3. Advertisement for some kind of enterprise (eg. page 55). Rowley and Greg set up a Halloween show. Do you have an idea for a business? Advertise this on a poster with text.

4. Movie story board. Have you always wanted to make a movie? These are often designed with the help of a story board in pictures. Outline the main events of your film in pictures and supporting text. As with option 2 you might decide to do this digitally. See the ideas there for producing and presenting your work.
