We advise you to read this manual carefully as we will guide you through the functions of the system. Instructions about the body-cam system will be given and in about 2 minutes you will enjoy the possibilities of this all-round camera product. Please read through the User’s Manual before using. When you use the product, we think you have read through this manual. The information provided in this manual, is as accurate as possible after being revised carefully. First use guide : This paragraph is important to read before using the X-Cam body worm system. To make sure all functions are ready for use, you must go through the 7 steps below.

1. Check that all the items are in the box. 2. Before the first use: charge your battery for three hours. Make sure to use the full

battery after charging for the first time. After the first cycle, green light will indicate the charging.

3. Turn on your X-Cam. Hold the power button firmly for around 5 seconds, when you hear two "beep" sounds the camera will start-up.

4. Use the Mini USB cable to connect the camera to a PC, and power on the camera. 5. Enter "My Computer", double click "Removable Disk" to find the X-Cam. 6. Double click the X-Cam icon to open the "Password" dialog box. 7. Enter the default password "12345678" and click "Connect". 8. Change the password of you X-Cam body worm system, click the "Change

Password" option in the password entry interface to change your X-Cam password. 9. Enter the original password in the first box. Enter the new password in the second

box and enter the new password again in the third box. 10. Enjoy your X-Cam body worm system.

【Relative information】Only 8-digit numeric password can be set as "custom" password for this X-Cam body worm system. The new password entered in the second box must be identical to the one entered in the third box. The installation, repair should be made by our company authorized personnel or professional maintenance person from the distributor or retailer. Without our company’s permission, do not install, disassembly and assembly, or repair. Otherwise, you will lose the warranty service right.

Indicator overview :

【Note】This X-Cam adopts built-in, changeable Lithium battery. In order to avoid fire and burning, please do not poke, bump or take it apart or throw it into fire or other dangerous substance for electronics or lithium!

Charging Mode : Use the Mini USB cable to connect the X-Cam body worm system to the power adapter or a PC’s USB port to charge the battery.

【Note】Your X-Cam will power off automatically within several minutes if you did not give it a command in order to save energy. You need to power on X-Cam again when using. If in settings the standby function is disabled, it will not enter the standby mode anymore. Power On/Off : - Power On: Long press the power button for around 5 seconds. The X-Cam body worm system will start-up after two “beep” sounds are heard. - Power Off: Long press the power button for around 5 seconds. The X-Cam body worm will shut-down after three “beep” sounds are heard. - Standby: When there is no operation within the preset time, the X-Cam body worm will enter the standby mode after three “beep” sounds are heard; if the standby function is disabled in settings, it will not enter the standby mode any more. - Wake up: Press any button on the X-Cam to automatically wake it up. Video Recording : - Start: Press "REC" when "Video icon" is shown at the display screen, the camera will enter the video recording mode; press "REC" again to start video recording. At this moment, the red indicator at the upper left corner of the X-Cam blinks slowly, and "000:00:00 " is shown at the upper right corner of the screen to indicate the length of video recorded. - End: Press "REC" again, the recording will be ended after two “beep” sounds are heard. Image Capturing : In the photo-capturing mode, the system will make a " click " sound when "CAM" is pressed once, indicating successful photo shooting.

Audio Recoding : - The system will make a "beep" sound when "Microphone icon" is pressed, indicating the start of audio recording. - The system will make two "beep" sounds when "Microphone icon" is pressed, indicating the start of audio recording. PC Connection :

- Use the Mini USB cable to connect the X-Cam body worm system to a PC, and power on the X-Cam. - Enter "My Computer"; double click " Removable Disk " to find the following icon of the X-Cam. Double click this icon to open the "Password" dialog box. - Enter the default password "12345678" or your custom password and click "Connect". - Enter " My Computer " again to view the files recorded by this device: WiFi Connection : The system enters Wi-Fi mode when "WiFi icon" is pressed. 【Remark】Wi-Fi mode is available only in the video recording preview or photo shooting preview mode, but not in the audio recording mode.

WiFi Function : The X-Cam body worm system supports Wi-Fi function. The X-Cam can be controlled remotely after connected to a Wi-Fi enabled remote control or mobile device. - Please install the application "X-Cam app" provided by X-Systems on your mobile device. You can download "X-Cam app" by the supplied link, and then install it on your device. - Press the Wi-Fi button; wait until the Wi-Fi blue indicator blinks slowly. - Enable the Wi-Fi search function of the mobile receiving device; after finding the wireless signal source of "X-Cam", enter the password and click "Connect" to connect to the X-Cam. (Default password: XSYS12345). - Click the application icon "X-Cam app" the interface icon "WiFi" will appear, and the system will enter the Wi-Fi connection interface.

【Note】When enabling or disabling the Wi-Fi function, please do not operate any button on the X-Cam. 【Remark】In case of X-Cam connection error, the error icon "WiFi" will appear. Select “Yes” to try connection again; select “No” and click the "WiFi" enter the Wi-Fi setting interface; click "WiFi" enter the software interface, but you are not allowed to operate except viewing local files.

PTT Connection :

- Press the "PTT" button to transmit voice. - Release the "PTT" button to receive voice. Use the intercom cable to connect this X-Cam body worm system to the interphone, as shown in the figure below. After connection, this device can be used as a voice transmitter.

Photo capturing option : 1. Enter X-Cam mode setting. - Normal mode: One image is taken when the shutter button is pressed. - Snapshot mode: 3/1s, 6/1s or 8/1s. - Auto continuous shooting mode: images will be taken automatically and continuously at the set time interval; there are five interval options: 2S, 3S, 5S, 10S and 20S. - Time-lapse shooting mode: A photo will be taken 3s after the shutter button is pressed; A photo will be taken 5s after the shutter button is pressed; A photo will be taken 10s after the shutter button is pressed. 2. Resolution selection. - 22MegaPixels (Finest quality) - 16MegaPixel (High quality) - 12MegaPixel (Regular quality) - 8MegaPixel (low quality)

Function setting option :

1. Warning tone. - There are three options available: "OFF, 50%, and 100%". 2. LED light. Select "LED" to enter the menu:

- Infrared LED mode: If enabled, the camera will have the infrared function when the ambient light level is low; the system will enter this mode automatically - Ultraviolet LED mode: If enabled, the camera can identify invisible watermarks. - White LED mode: This mode provides light compensation function; if enabled, the photos taken or videos recorded will look brighter and clearer. - Laser mode: This mode provides laser indication function; if enabled, the focusing will be faster and more accurate. 3. Title. "TITLE" can be set to "enable/disable" title display on the screen.

4. Standby. - Screen auto standby: Enter power settings. 5. TV settings. TV output mode: Enter television settings. - NTSC Format: Suitable for use in North America - PAL Format: For non North American use. 6. G-Sensor. - Enter “G-Sensor” setting; select " OFF " or " ON " as needed; 7.Language. - Users can select among 10 languages including English. 8.Date/time. - Users can set the date and time displayed on the camera. 9.Restore factory settings. - Restore the X-Cam to factory settings. System Settings : Press "M" key to enter setup menu. Then press "Arrow down" to switch the menu. Press "Arrow right" for rightward selection, press "OK" for confirmation and press "M" to go back to the menu interface. 1. Video setting option.

2. Enter "video setting option" execution mode setting. - Video "video setting option": It is the video recording mode under normal conditions. - Pre-Video "Pre-video setting option": In this mode, the system will enter the pre-video recording state when the video recording button is pressed, and timer will start in advance; and the end time of video recording can also be delayed. - Time Lapse "Time Lapse setting option": One picture will be extracted within each preset period, and the extract pictures will form a video. - Auto Video "Auto-video setting option": The system will automatically enter the video recording state according to the preset countdown time.

- PIV "Picture in video setting option": During video recording, the shutter button can be pressed to take photos. 3. Resolution. - 1080Pixels (16:9) - 960Pixels (4:3) - 720Pixels (16:9) 4. Bit rate. This device provides two bit rate options: High and Normal (When high bit rate is selected, pictures are clearer but the file size increases). 5. Loop recording. If this function is enabled, when the memory is used up, the latest video segment (10min long) will automatically overwrite the oldest video segment (10min long). When this function is disabled, the video length is 15min, and video recording cannot proceed when the memory is full. 6. 180° rotation of picture: If enabled, normal videos or photos can be taken when the camera is operated upside down.

Trouble Shooting : 1. In case that there are operation commands from the X-Cam and remote controller at the same time, the one from the X-Cam has higher priority. 2. The pictures above are limited to Android system, and they are for reference only. 3. The function and operation of different versions of the app released on the network platform may vary slightly from each other.
