MARLOES ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC)ORDER 2014

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council has made an Order underSection 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (TemporaryRestrictions) Act 1991.The Order is necessary so that work to reconstruct a culvert located in the narrowcarriageway in the region of Winterton Farm can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exemptedvehicles, from proceeding along that section of the class III (C3102) Mullock Bridge to Marloesroad, from its junction with the B4327 west to its junction with Gay Lane.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the B4327 towards Dale and the class III (C3102)road via Philbeach Farm.It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect onMonday 29th September 2014, and remain in force for a duration of approximately 3 weeks.Pedestrian access will be maintained together with vehicular access to properties located eitherside of the works area.The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingency should theworks need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

29th September 2014 and remain in force for a duration of approximately 5 days.Alternative routes will be provided and signed accordingly, and vehicular access maintained toaffected properties located outside the works area. Pedestrian access will also be maintained.Whilst the restrictions imposed by the Order are only expected to operate during the datesspecified, the Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingencyshould the work need to be rescheduled or consequential work required as a result of anyunforeseen circumstances.
