Stenehjem campaign calls Burgum ad on Obamacaremisleading and false

Bismarck, N.D.  April 14, 2016  A new television ad claiming that Republican

Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has been a supporter of Obamacare is blatantly

inaccurate and fundamentally wrong.

Stenehjem has long opposed Obamacare as yet another example of the

administrations inclination for federal overreach! an unwarranted intrusion into our

personal lives and a violation of constitutional rights.

Stenehjem said in response to the ad. "#ts clear they need to do their homewor%

before they create and distribute this %ind of information.&

said. #n +,-,! Stenehjem was among the *rst Attorneys General in the nation to

 join the original lawsuit to overturn Obamacare. 'urther! in +,- Stenehjem

opposed a lawsuit created to %ill Obamacare not because he supported the

disastrous healthcare plan but because he believed the lawsuit itself was ill/

conceived and held the possibility to hurt (orth )a%otans.

 0he lawsuit sought to halt federal tax credits for people who signed up for

Obamacare through the federal exchange. "0he impact of this lawsuit on our

states policy holders would have been devastating!& Stenehjem said. "Over

federal credit they counted on to help pay the premiums they were re2uired by law

to buy.&
