The rescuers do not have the proper equipment, have difficulty to move the boulders and don’t know where to find the victims.
The victims have been trapped for too long under the rubble and may not be able to survive.

Our EYE ROBOT is a prototype robot that serves to find trapped victims in the rubbles of an earthquake area.

RationaleWe saw pictures of some Sichuan earthquake victims and wanted to do our part to help them so we came up with the idea of creating the EYE ROBOT.
PROCESS We first decided the functions of
our robot and used that as a guide to build the design of our robot.

Further Improvements
After doing further research, we decided to add optic fibre wires on the robot so that there is immediate connection between the robot and the rescuers.
