    Our scriptural anchor is John 3:16AND17 For God so loved the worldthat he gave his only Son, so that every-one who believes in him may not perishbut may have eternal life. Indeed, Goddid not send the Son into the world tocondemn the world, but in order thatthe world might be saved through him.

    We invite you to join us in adven-ture of intentional prayer as weprepare for a week of WOW. It isnot complicated; simply use thisas a guide for your time of per-sonal devotion. In doing so, weall open ourselves to Gods invi-tation to Win Our World, by

    Gods grace, with Gods love!

    WOW 2010

    Win Our World (or WOW, forshort) is a youth camp ministrybuilt on three fundamentalcomponents: faith formation,leadership development, andurban ministry.

    Led by teenagers for teenagers,WOW is Gods dream for theyouth of St. Johns LutheranChurch in Knoxville, Tennesee as

    well as the youth of other Christianchurches across the southeast andmidwest.

    On July 11, 20 youth and 4 adultswill leave LCR and head toKnoxville to participate in WOW.We ask you to help us prepare forour trip by joining us in this 31-dayPrayer Adventure. Beginning on

    June 10, this Adventure will helpus count down the final days untilwe leave for WOW 2010!

    Day 7Pray for all of the Senior High youth whowill serve as Team Leaders and for all of theMiddle School youth who will serve asAssistant Team Leaders.

    Day 6 Pray God will help all WOW participantsopen their hearts and minds to the theme ofservant leadership through radical discipleship LETS START A REVOLUTION

    Day 5 Pray for Gods physical protection as wetravel and as we serve in downtown Knoxville,for Gods emotional protection so we might beunited with a bond of peace, and for Godsspiritual protection when forces that wouldoppose ministry in the name of Jesus Christ

    seek to oppress those involved in WOW.

    Day 4 Pray for the pastors and staff members ofSt. Johns as they offer support the WOW minis-tries and do behind the scenes detail work:Mindy Abell, Darrell Bailey, Toni Denton, Pas-tor Amy Figg, Lisa Foxwell, Tom Holladay,Krista Lee, Pastor Steve Misenheimer, TheaPeterson, Debbie Sousa, and Claudia Wise.

    Day 3 Ask for the gift of Gods grace as seen inthe fruit of the Spirit (Galatians5:22-23) love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

    Day 2 Ask God to inspire vision for the futureof Win Our World Ministries.

    Day 1 Ask for Gods blessing as your WOW2010 adventure begins; may it be alife-changing experience!

    Thanks for your faithful support of Win OurWorld (WOW) Urban Mission Camp. God is

    up to something AMAZING!

    Day 31 Give thanks for youth groups who haveparticipated in WOW 2005, WOW 2006, WOW2007, WOW 2008, and WOW 2009, askingGods blessings on their ministries in their

    cities.
