Worship
“Why did Christ come?
Why was He born?
Why was He crucified?
Why did He rise again?
Why is He now at the right hand of the Father?
The answer to all these questions is:
in order that He might make worshippers out of rebels;
in order that He might restore us again to the place of worship we knew when
we were first created.”
- AW Tozer
“Christians believe that true worship is the highest and noblest activity of which man,
by the grace of God, is capable”
- John Stott

Heb 10:20 – Through the veil
To summarize…
• As worshipers we can draw near regardless of heritage, age, or gender - in Christ
• As Priests - through Christ • Bring Offerings – which are Christ • with high priest – who is Christ • Within veil – flesh of Christ • For our hearts – Indwelt by Christ • To be cleansed – blood of Christ • So that we may worship God our Father and His
Son – The Lord Jesus Christ
Our Worship in Christ Romans 11:36-12:2
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of
God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual
service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which
is good and acceptable and perfect.

The Blood of Jesus Let us draw near
with a sincere heart in faith
Let us hold fast the confession
of our hope, for He is faithful
Let us consider how to stir up one another to
love, not forsaking our
gathering
