April 5 “Van Gogh, Picasso, da Vinci, Monet, Kahlo, and YOU!” Presented By: Refraction Studios/Rebecca Hofer. Everyone is a budding artist and CAN have a great time in this class! This Lifelong Learning Class is a Special Edition. For the first time ever we are putting on our berets, breaking out our smocks, and getting our palettes ready! Rebecca Hofer from Refraction Studios will lead us in step-by-step instructions in painting our own one of a kind painting. Each of us will be painting a beginner level (or take it to the next) nature scene on an 8 x10 canvas.

provided in last week’s bulletin regarding the two

constitution amendments that will be discussed and

voted upon as well as the nominations for Leadership

Board. Please talk to any member of the Leadership

Team or Pastor Luke if you have questions.

MUMS (Mothers Uplifting Mother’s) Kickoff:

Monday September 9 at FEBC. Evening starts at 7pm.

Need more mum time? Come as early as 6:30 for coffee

and conversation! We will be hearing testimonies from

Kristy and Joyce as well as a get-to-know-you time.

MUMS is based off Titus II providing an opportunity for

friendship and mentoring. MUMS is a monthly meeting

for mothers of all ages from littles to empty nesters. All

are welcome!

Benefit for Camden Vancura: Silent Auction and

Pancake Feed; September 21st 10am-12 noon. Camden

is the 1 yr old son of Blake and Jennifer Vancura

(Heartland Class ’99) and was born with Down Syndrome

and has had extended stays at Children’s Hospital in

Omaha for a type of seizure that can cause brain

damage if not treated. They are working to find

specialists to treat his case. They are asking for silent

auction donations (gift baskets, quilts, baked goods).

Needed: Henderson Health Care

Services is seeking a committed

volunteer to deliver meals every

Tuesday to an average of four to six

people living within the Henderson

city limits. Meal delivery time

would begin around 11:00 am.

during small group time on

Sundays from 9:30 – 10:30 am for

children under 2 years old. Nursery

is available during worship service

for children age 3 and under. No

adult WNL classes are scheduled for

the fall semester, so there will not

be a staffed nursery on Wednesday

nights during WNL.
