Words of Appreciation Dear Mr. Menon, Congratulations! I admire your dedication, courage and passion to make a difference in the energy and environment. You are truly an outstanding and dedicated person to serve humanity. I am confident that your magazine will play a major role in educating the masses on global green energy and environment issues. While in our country many corporate companies fail to perform their corporate social responsibilities, you had published India Foundation’s advertisement (an NGO for downtrodden children) free of cost. In return, you will have hidden blessings of those 50+children (sponsor a child program+many women empowerment programs) in Rajasthan+48 Blind Girls in Gwalior. You are bound to succeed. I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. God Bless You! Cheers! Darshan L. Goswami, M.S., P.E. Dear Sir,

I was going through your magazine and the best part to highlight is the simplicity of its language. The articles were less of technical jargons. This makes the journal very friendly to the reader. I am so glad the efforts you have been putting are turning out as a great success.

It was a pleasant surprise when I received Energy Blitz magazine’s first issue. I congratulate Shri Ramanathan Menon for taking a step which will go a long way in the field of renewable energy. This is an era of fast developments in the field of new and renewable energy.

Our increasing population on planet Earth has made it mandatory to look for alternative energy resources in a more sincere manner. The need of hour is to understand the mechanisms in using natural resources of energy in an effective manner and replace ever depleting sources of energy. It is well known that the fossil fuels are depleting at a very rapid rate. There may be several deposits of coal in India. However extraction of coal is becoming more and more difficult. The expenses are increasing astronomically.

The topics covered in the first issue are in tandem with aims and objectives defined by Mr. Menon in his editorial. We need to have a very focused research in the sector of solar energy. India is most favored nation of Planet Sun. We must take full advantage. Our mission should be each village must use solar energy for thermal purposes. Electricity may come later. If we can stop the usage of wood, gas and coal for heating water in majority of establishments, it would be a great achievement.

I strongly believe that bioenergy and solar energy together have a full potential to satisfy our thermal energy needs in the domestic sector. Solar thermal energy can also play an important part in industrial sector. The mantra will be “Think small but achieve it”.

I once again congratulate Shri Menon for a timely endeavor and wish him and his team great success in coming years.
