STARTING YOUR TRAINING
1) Where do you go? You need to get to the training website.
Step #1, start off by going to the World Heritage Office’s Website
www.SanAntonio.gov/WorldHeritage
Step #2, you will click PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
Step #3, under World Heritage Ambassador Program, you will click
“Read more about the World Heritage Ambassador Program”.

Once you have clicked on “Read more about the World Heritage Ambassador Pro-
gram, you will go to the Visit San Antonio’s Partner Website, as seen below.
Step #4, you will click on the box “ Start Training Now”
NOTE: This page contains information regarding the program,
qualification, and recertification. This information will be helpful
to you as you progress through the program.

You will then go to the registration page.

NOW IT IS TIME TO TRAIN
You are now in the training module, CONGRATULATIONS! You have taken the first
steps to becoming a World Heritage Ambassador.
Each Module will have an information section and the quiz at the end. At any point,
you can go to the bottom of the screen and click “Back to Courses” and come back to
this screen. This test is not timed and you can come and go as you please.
Just remember, you must pass with 70% accuracy. GOOD LUCK!

Step #8, you will need to click on the “ Contents” button on the right side of
each module. The training is made to go in order 1 -15, as the program will automati-
cally progress as you complete each module.
Step #9, when you click on the “ Contents” button, a pop -up box will appear with
two links: 1) the educational information 2) the quiz.
You will need to click on the “Introduction to…” educational information

Step #10, HERE IS THE FUN PART. Read the entire module and learn.
READ & LEARN...just that easy!
Step #11, when you finish reading this module, click on the “ Mark as Read”
button.
Step #12, at this point, a second set of buttons will come up to confirm that you
have read this module. To proceed, please click “Yes”

Step #13, after you confirm that you read the module, the quiz will automatically
pop-up. Answer each question and click the right arrow to progress.
NOTE: Once you have completed the quiz, a box will appear to confirm that you
are finished with the quiz.

with the quiz.

Step #15, after you have confirmed that you have finished the quiz, a pop -up box
will show you your score. Click “Ok” to proceed back to the main testing screen
NOTE: If you did not make a 100% on the quiz, you will automatically be afford-
ed the opportunity to try again. If you need to re-read the educational materials,
click the button “Back to My Courses” at the bottom and re-enter the module.

You will now be automatically brought back to the “My Courses” page.
Please repeat steps 8 - 15 for the remaining modules.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Step #16, Now that you have passed your certification, don’t forget to print your
certificate by clicking “View Certificate”.
NOTE: Once Visit San Antonio and the World Heritage Office confirm your
certification, you will be contact to ensure you receive your Ambassador’s pin.
