Joining hands and hearts to keep Holocaust memory alive, fighting hatred and genocide

We are the Jewish Child Survivors of the Holocaust persecuted by the Nazis in ghettos, in camps, in hiding, on the run or forced to leave Nazi occupied Europe. Our objectives are to represent the interests of the child survivor community, to support each other, to keep alive the memory of the six million Jews – including the 1.5 million children – murdered during the Holocaust and to pass on our legacy to future generations. We pursue these objectives by telling the stories of our survival, by community interaction, education, holding conferences and by fighting anti-Semitism. We acknowledge and express gratitude to our Non-Jewish and Jewish rescuers.

Dear Survivor Family and Friends,

We are happy to welcome you to our 28th annual conference to be held in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel from November 4 to 7, 2016.

The conference will once again be held in cooperation with GSI, Generations of the Shoah International, as well as with The Kindertransport Association.

Please come and meet old friends, and make new friends, from the widening survivor community which now includes more and more second and third generation attendees.

I invite you to encourage your family members, children and grandchildren to attend, so they too will have the opportunity to meet others, with whom they may have many common experiences and issues to share.

We have enclosed your registration packet, which we hope will give you all the information you need. Should you need assistance, please note that we have provided you with information as to how to contact us directly.

We are working hard on what we think will be an interesting, meaningful, and heartfelt program for all. More details will become available as we get closer to the date of the conference. Please register and make your reservations early, so as not to miss the deadline!! Thank you. We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!! Stefanie Seltzer President WFJCSHD
