How to make Lollipops:Purchase a large piece of foam from the

hardware store (or put 2 paper platesback to back). Cut out circles with a sharpknife or exacto. I made mine about 10 indiameter with a 2 depth. Carve or drill ahole on the bottom underside of the circle(2 side) and glue an empty wrappingpaper roll or dowel into the circle creating a lollipop stick. Wrap incolored basket wrap (found at dollar stores) and secure with curlingribbon.

How to make a WonkaBar:Purchase a large piece of foamfrom the hardware store (approx.2' x 6' with a 1-2 depth). Breakoff pieces on one side to look likesomeone has taken a bite of thechocolate. Paint this edge brown.

Wrap both ends in foil or silverwrapping paper, leaving it peeledopen a bit on one side to exposethe bite. If you prefer to skip thispart, simply wrap both ends in foil. Attach fuschia or red wrappingpaper or paint to the 2 edges and about 2 around the bar to makethe chocolate bar border. Attach 2 pieces of black bristol board (orwrapping paper) side by side on each side of the bar with straightpins to cover the entire bar, minus the red border you see pictured.(tape or glue won't hold) Cut out and attach Wonka Bar letters with

glue or pins. (letters on page 19) If desired, cut out and attach thewording on the back of the bar: Print white letters with a black border.'5 LUCKY WINNERS WILL FIND A GOLDEN TICKET INSIDEGOOD LUCK!NEW WT 3 OZPRODUCED BY THE WILLY WONKA CHOCOLATE FACTORY INC'

Fill kiddie pool with cotton candy or popcorn. Purchase pinwheels from the dollar store to place in yourgarden or along the walkway as colorful candy spinners. Use a kiddie pool as a chocolate river by filling it with chocolatemilk or colored water. (green and red food coloring) Cocoa added tothe water will work as well. Get creative and add a small fountain thothe water to have it moving and scent the room with chocolate. If indoors, you may want to use a brown blanket to resemblethe chocolate in the pool. This is great for the fishing game. Use top hats as snack bowls (found at party stores). Hang streamers across the driveway like a grand openingribbon.

Hang candy canes or candy sticks around the house. If you have a bubble machine, this is fun to have going either inthe yard or outside the front door to set the mood for the guests. Purchase a pinata in either a flower shape for your candygarden theme or buy a round paper mache ball and paint it toresemble a gumball or gobstopper. These are always a hit. Fill baskets, vases or cups with candy and create a centerpieceusing candy sticks, giant lollipops and Wonka candy. These can bewon as a prize. Cut out the word Wonka in purple and black in large letters and

hang from the ceiling (letters on page 19). Make a jellybean wreath out of construction paper and attach

jellybeans with icing or glue and hang. Hang a Wonka contract for the kids to sign. Print or write theWonka contract (available atwww.custompartyplace.com) or simply 'I promiseto be a kid, act like a kid and eat all the candy my little heart desiresand have everyone sign it as they arrive. BUBBLE GUM RECIPE...PG 14Materials Needed: 1 oz. package of bubble gum base, 1 tsp. of bubble gum flavor,

measuring cup, 2 small cookie cutters(3/4 in.), 1 tbsp. of corn syrup, 1 C of

confectioners sugar, microwave safe mixing bowl, wooden mixing spoon, measuringspoons, oven mitt, rolling pin(optional), wax paper. Instructions 1. First thing's first wash

your hands 2. If the corn syrup is not liquified, put the bottle in a pot of hot water to

liquify it. 3. Put 1 C of confectioners sugar in the microwave safe mixing bowl and makea crater in the center. 4. Empty the 1 oz. package of bubblegum base into the crater and

put the bowl in the microwave on medium to medium high for 15 seconds. Wearing an

oven mitt, carefully remove the container and press against the bubble gum with the

wooden spoon. If the bubble gum is soft and mushy, remove it. If not, microwave it likebefore until it's soft and easy to mash with a wooden spoon. 5. When the base is soft, add

1 tbsp. of liquified corn syrup and heat again on medium high for another 15 seconds

and remove from microwave. 6. With the wooden spoon, mix the bubble gum base, thecorn syrup and the sugar until they are about halfway mixed together, then add 1 tsp.

of bubble gum flavor and continue mixing until it is blended together. When the mixture

has cooled and it gets hard to stir, knead it with your hands. The consistency you shouldhave will be similar to cookie dough. Once you have a soft dough-like lump of pink

bubble gum, place it on a sheet of wax paper dusted with confectioners sugar. 7. Now you

are ready to shape the bubble gum. You can flatten it with your hands or with a rolling pin

and cut it with a cookie cutter in to the shape you desire. 8. After you have cut the bubblegum, let the bubble gum dry for one hour, then lightly dust each piece with confectioner's

sugar and store them in a air-tight container. If you want to you can wrap each piece of

bubble gum individually in wax paper instead of storing them in a container. If you do,

the gum should stay fresh for 2 weeks. 9. When you are cleaning the mixing bowl and thewooden spoon try to wipe off most of the mixture with a paper towel before washing.

Then wash them with warm water and soap."
