PERSONAS
Age: 22 Education: Bachelor student, IR
Origin: Spain
Juan
He’s an exchange student in TLU for one semester who arrived in the beginning of February. He’s a 3rd year student in International Relations and is from Spain. He’s living in the TLU dormitory. He is not especially interested in IT-things. He likes simple technology that just works. He read in a newspaper, that Tallinn is the cultural capital of the EU in 2011. This suits him perfectly as he likes to explore the city and local culture anyway. Now he is hoping for a lot of extra events
Goals:
New connections: “I really enjoy meeting new people and discovering
their culture.”
Concentration of information: “I spend 30 min everyday looking for some cult. events but in the end I’m not going anywhere. Most of the
time I find different events on different websites and I’m not able to find out who is coming or not.”
Simple Application: “Moreover I’m not an IT guy. I hate losing time
trying to understand the interface or the use of an application.”

Goals:
Revenue: “I just bought a new club and as international people, particularly students, are more willing to spend money and have a good time in different clubs I want to attract them.”
Location: “My club is located in a basement that is why people have problems finding it.”

Steve
Steve is a 23 years old exchange student in the Tallinn Technical University. He lives in the Academic Hostel in Mustamäe a far district from the City Center. He arrived in Tallinn in the beginning of February and so he doesn’t know a lot of people yet. He is interested in IT but also cultural events. He wants to discover the real Tallinn and not only the “Erasmus” Tallinn and get acquainted with locals.
Goals: Transport: “I am thrilled to discover new places but the problem is that I’m living far away from the center. Most of people here don’t want to go out because last buses leave from the center around midnight so getting home becomes difficult for us.” Location: “As I am new in town I don’t know how to get to some
places in town and living out of town is not helping. I think that by the end of this semester Google Maps will become my best friend.”
