The first alumni Board was formed in 1995

First ambassadors to the College and community

Strengthen and maintain ties between the graduates November 2009 DWC alumni Association was

reformed by a group of dedicated alumni members to establish the DWC alumni Board with the intention to rebuild and shape the Association.

“To develop and sustain networking between the College, alumni, the UAE and international

community to advance Emirati nationals as rising leaders and role models, as well as to promote

DWC as the first 1st college of choice.”

Goal 1

Networking:

Establish and maintain effective networks with all stakeholders for mutual benefit of the association, college, UAE and International community.

Advancing Emirati Nationals:

Motivate and inspire Emirati nationals to become successful role models and leaders to make a change in the community.

Positioning HCT - Dubai as the employers’ 1st choice:

Promote college students and graduates as employees of choice, successful entrepreneurs, and active members in the community.

Achievements: Consistent and regular monthly meetings of the

Alumni Association Strategic Planning Retreat: March 2010, Developed Alumni Association Framework, Bylaws mission goals structure and established board committees Launch of the Association, May 2010
