Tag Rugby Trust (TRT)
Since 2002, the Tag Rugby Trust has grown and evolved into an organisation working in the UK and eight developing countries. TRT uses rugby as a vehicle to “Build Futures” by providing relevant and challenging opportunities for children and adults alike. This is achieved through volunteer (adult and young people) staffed coaching development Tours. Sustainability and local ownership is central to TRT and aim to build the structures that will ensure long term sustainability.

What next?
• Letters will be distributed shortly
• At this stage, we estimate the cost of the tour to be in the region of £2,500 and £2,750 per student. TAG Rugby Trust is in the process of finalising costs and we hope be in a position to confirm the actual price soon

• If numbers exceed 35, students will be assessed based on the following criteria;
• Commitment to school rugby (training and playing)
• Commitment to school sport (training and playing)
• Commitment to the wider school community eg. Peer mentoring, music, drama, tour guides
• Above all, an excellent attitude to both curricular and extra-curricular activities

Fundraising
• Important to raise funds for the schools and community in Zambia
• Students are encouraged to raise the money to fund their visit through individual or small group fundraising
• Some whole group / school fundraising but this is dependant on the size of the group
