Executive Summary Deliverable 7.6 “Proceedings of WiserBAN First Technical Workshop”, reports about the
two WiserBAN technical Workshops organized by the Project in the first two years. The first
Workshop has been organized in the framework of the Solid-State Circuits 2011 Conference
(ESSCIR) and taken place in Helsinki on September 2, 2011. While the second Workshop has
been organized in the framework of the Body Sensor Network 2012 Conference and taken
place in London on May 12, 2012. For each of the two Workshops we report below the
program and the presentations of the speakers.

1 The WiserBAN First Workshop
This Workshop took place on September 12 2011, in the framework of the Solid-State
Circuits Conference (ESSCIR) 2011 in Helsinki. The Workshop has been organized by
Vincent Peiris, from CSEM.
The Workshop included talks about innovative R&D activities in the field of WBAN, given
by a panel of renown international scientists from WiserBAN and from leading R&D and
industrial groups. A panel session took place at the end of the Workshop, for debating about
the challenges to be faced by microelectronics and microsystems for WBAN.
