FAMILY NIGHT SAFETY MONITORS NEEDED—The Safety Team and Safe Sanctuaries Committee are needing volunteers to serve as Safety Monitors during Church Family Nights beginning September 26. Safety Monitors will help ensure safety for all who gather at FMC. There will be two shifts (5:30-7:00 PM and 7:00-8:30 PM) each Wednesday evening. For more information or to volunteer, contact Pat Denno. The Safety Team is exploring new avenues to inform persons during an emergency situation. We are currently needing a data entry person. If you have interest, please contact Pastor Joel. Here's an opportunity. The Women's Fellowship is offering equipment and supplies to anyone interested in starting a quilting/sewing group at FMC. If interested call Geraldine Wiebe (283-1309) or Kathryn Penner (283-2231) by October 1, after which further decisions will be made. Women's Fellowship will meet for coffee fellowship in October. As you notice increasing numbers of "Back-to-school" sales, don't forget to catch some of the bargains for the shoeboxes we’ll be packing this fall for Operation Christmas Child! As a reminder, all items that fit in a shoebox are welcome, not just crayons and pencils.
