    Seamans and Randy Schneider

Conference outlook: We lost four starters fromlast seasons team and lost one potential starter thisseason to football because of an ACL injury (sopho-more Nate Banasik). We dont bring back a lot of ex-perience but we return a successful Varsity Reserveteam from last year. Were hoping to finish in thetop half of the Southwest Wisconsin Conference.

Dodgeville returns most of their offense fromlast year. River Valley has a great presence insidewith one of the better post players in the area.Lancaster returns a great athletic class that will begreatly improved from last year. I expect the fol-lowing teams to be the strongest contenders in ourconference: Dodgeville, River Valley, Lancaster.

Top returning players: Connor George - returningpoint guard and leading scorer. I would expect himto be a great leader, distribute the ball, and showtremendous improvement in his shooting. I wouldexpect my four seniors to demonstrate great leader-ship during the season.

Who are some of the top teams in your confer-ence? What is your conference outlook, goals for theseason? River Valley should be favored to knock offtwo-time defending SWC champ Lancaster. Rich-land Center and Dodgeville will be much improvedfrom a year ago and will be competitive. I reallythink we can challenge the top teams in the confer-ence and on any given night be able to beat any ofthe teams in our conference, however we will haveto be up for every match as our conference is becom-ing more balanced than it has been in years past.

What will be the keys to your success thisseason? I know it is clich, but we have to stayhealthy as we will need every one of our wrestlersto be able to compete to the highest of their abil-ity in order for us to have the season we want. Wewont be deep at a lot of weights, but the freshmen

class has some wrestlers that have been wrestling awhile, so hopefully they make the transition to thehigh school ranks seem smooth.

What do you consider your teams strengthsand challenges? Our freshmen coming in will havea great skill set, which will allow us as a team to bebetter quicker. We should be able to fill a line-upwith competitive guys from top to bottom, whichwill really help us in the dual season. We have in-dividuals that have the talent to make a run to thestate tournament and we look forward for guys tolead this team. Obviously, we graduated seven se-niors last year. Although they didnt have the mostexperience, they will be missed. Our depth will be achallenge as we will probably have around 20 kidsout.

Anything you would like to add? Every season

is exciting and this season is no different. I am look-ing forward to a great 2014-2015 season.
