PAVING THE WAY FOR NEW JERSEY’S FUTUREAfter nearly a decade of planning and designing the addition of 170 asphalt lane miles to its previous configuration, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority was proud to open its revamped roadway to the motoring public before Thanksgiving 2014. The new 12-lane (six in each direction) dual roadway design alleviates the high traffic congestion between Interchanges 6 to 9 and accommodates the Turnpike’s forecasted traffic needs through the year 2032. Stokes Creative Group, Inc. was present over the years to watch the project evolve, filming and photographing every element that a program of this magnitude encompasses – from construction milestones to ribbon-cutting ceremonies. We also developed and managed the official project website for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. The site features many of the photographs and videos captured by Stokes Creative Group, Inc., as well as traffic updates and public impacts in an easy to use format.

As motorists enjoy alleviated congestion on the updated Turnpike, we are currently in the final production stage of wrapping up the last video for our multi-part series, and capturing stunning aerials of the final project design. A CHARMING DESIGN

Stokes Creative Group, Inc. was selected by Turner Construction Company to visually document the progress of the emerging FMC Tower. Located two blocks from 30th Street Station and the original Circa Centre in University City, Philadelphia, this multi-purpose building will house the global headquarters of the specialty chemical company, FMC Corporation. It will also include residential and student housing apartments, retail shops and dining facilities.

Designed to ascend 47-stories above the city, the FMC Tower will soon become known as one of the tallest buildings in Philadelphia, offering breathtaking views of popular city sites such as the Schuylkill River and Penn Park. Not far from the FMC Tower site, Stokes Creative Group, Inc. is

The Chesapeake Chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) is gearing up for their 2015 National Conference, set for May 27-31, in Baltimore, Maryland. Stokes Creative Group, Inc. has been there every step of the way to help prepare them for the kick-off.

We created the conference’s official website which includes general event information, visually appealing images, and a promotional video about the wide variety of activities and sites attendees can expect in Charm City upon arrival. Our team also assisted in creating an array of marketing materials for the occasion such as magazine advertisements and detailed articles about the conference.

STOKES SUPPORTS DBE EVENTS Stokes Creative Group, Inc. recently participated as a presenter at the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) 2015 Civil Rights Summit, as well as Clark Construction’s DBE outreach event. In early December, Nicole Pace and Amber Konopka from our business development team traveled to Bethesda, Maryland and partnered with Clark Construction Group, LLC, to share their expert industry knowledge.

In late January, Nicole Pace and Kevin Mallia partnered with the Turino Group on behalf of DelDOT’s 2015 Civil Rights Summit, held at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Conference Center. At both events, Stokes Creative Group, Inc. employees spoke to attendees about basic key marketing concepts to enhance professional growth, as well as DBE specific marketing concepts to attract prime contractors and project owners.

PUTTING ESSEX DPW ON THE MAPStokes Creative Group, Inc. recently updated the Essex County Department of Public Works website, which we originally created in 2012. The new updates include a highly customized and interactive map that allows site visitors to see the riches of the county, as well as request specific services on county roadways. Additionally, we created the content management

system (CMS) that allows the client to easily update and add community information on an as needed basis; including a pot hole reporting function. After this winter, we’re guessing it will be a busy component of the site.

In the midst of the holiday season it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle that results from all of the exciting festivities and unfortunately we sometimes forget about those that have to go without. Stokes Creative Group, Inc. encourages acts of kindness by giving back to the community. Recently, we proudly participated in two major philanthropic deeds; Toys for Tots Foundation and the Healing Hands Foundation.

Recognizing the true meaning of giving back and the real reason why we celebrate the holidays, our thoughtful employees linked up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and participated in their annual toy drive. The organization has collected new toys for less fortunate children during the holiday season since 1947. Our team was proud to take part

in this heartwarming cause, and generously filled a massive box with gifts to help many children have a more memorable holiday experience this past December.

In addition, Stokes Creative Group, Inc. also announced that the company would officially support The Healing Hands Foundation through a donation to cover one medical procedure, and also made a commitment to hold a fundraiser event in 2015. The Healing Hands Foundation, an all-volunteer and non-profit organization, provides life-changing surgeries on children and young adults that lack medical and financial resources.
