Hertford County 4-H is proud to announce its participation in the 1st Annual 4-H Dog Bowl on Friday, February 22nd at 630PM in Lillington, NC, hosted by Wake County 4-H. We are excited to offer an opportunity for youth to represent Hertford County at this fun, educational event. Two teams, one Junior (ages 9-12) and

one Senior (ages 13-18), will have a chance to “show what they know” about canine animal husbandry in a quiz bowl type setting. Wish us luck. Woof! Also, PAWS of Hertford County is sponsoring our teams with tee shirts and a hands-on educational day at their shelter. We would like to give

a special shout out to PAWS to honor the excellent work that they do for our homeless and abandoned four-legged friends in the county.
