MH Architects is a multi-facetted architecture firm based in SanFrancisco. Principal Matt Hollis has been in practice since 2001and possesses a range of technical experience in winery residential, hotel, office, and institutional programs.

MH Architects offers a wide range of technical experience inwinery programming and design. We work closely withwinemakers to optimize wineries for specific productionrequirements.

Whether the project involves new construction or renovation of anexisting building, certain objectives remain constant. Spaces areorganized to allow the winemaker necessary flexibility to makeadjustments in processing strategy during the life of the building.Room organization is integrated with proper plumbing, mechanical,and refrigeration design, allowing the winemaker to enjoy asophisticated level of temperature, humidity, and ventilationcontrol. When spatial constraints impose, production areas areprogrammed with the ability to switch between multiple functionsfrom harvest to bottling.

In addition to design, MH Architects provides project managementservices with the coordination of various engineers involved in aparticular project different types of spaces.
