There are new guidelines for 2015 NOW implemented for renting the Winchester Country clubhouse rooms. The rules go into effect for all clubhouse rentals.

• Deposits must be made as money orders. Leave the “pay to the order of” line BLANK, as the money order will be returned upon passing post-rental inspection. Checks, cashiers checks or cash will no longer be accepted for the deposit.

• No items may be taped, hung, tacked or glued on the walls, doors or rafters.

• No helium balloons allowed inside the clubhouse.This is not a policy change but bears repeating: Pool rentals

are only allowed after normal hours and through Texas Aquatics at 713-416-5161.

Pool applications submitted AFTER May 1, 2014, will require a $10 LATE FEE and will not be processed without it! You need to be current on all homeowners dues for activation. Hurry up because pool season begins in May!

POOL APPLICATION REMINDER

The trash pick up schedule is changing for all Winchester Country residents as of April 1, 2015. New trash pick up days are MONDAY and THURSDAY. Recycling will be picked up on THURSDAYS.

WCA is the trash company and they can be reached at 281-368-8397.

We meet the LAST Monday of the month at 6:00pm at the Winchester Country Clubhouse.

We play cards, dominoes or other games. We go out to eat and attend plays at the Family Arts Center on Grant Road or the 1960 Playhouse on Gant Road. For more information please call Helen Delaney at 281-794-8796.

WINCHESTER HURRICANES Swim Team Make a splash this summer - Come Join

Your Neighborhood team!

Calling all swimmers between ages of 4 and 18 The Hurricanes will sponsor the FREE Guppy School (April 20-23) for younger swimmers who would like to learn from the swim team experts and see if swim team is right for them

We always need “6 and under” age swimmers – come and give it a try!

Be part of a great team sport, build community spirit � Swimming enhances children’s natural flexibility and promotes muscular

development � Swimming is the most injury free of all children’s sports � Swimming is a sport that promotes lifelong fitness and enjoyment � Swimmers learn self-discipline and how to set personal goals

Registration form can be downloaded and completed in advance from our website or completed at registration. April 11 Registration. Registration cost is $95 each for the first 2 swimmers, $50 for the 3rd swimmer, and $40 for the 4th swimmer. A refundable volunteer deposit check is required at registration. Fees include a trophy, a team t-shirt, and the team party.
